The original Muripi Boa Vista comes from the Brazilian city of Boa Vista. This is an accidental cross of that rare variety that I discovered in my garden last year. Very similar in heat and flavor to the original although they are shorter. Plants produce so many peppers that they try to break under the weight of them.
