Sweet Cantaloupe Grex

From our home garden we have crossed one of the most popular hybrid cantaloupes into a land race that originally came from Joseph Lofthouse. A land race is a cross of different varieties containing around 30 to 50 different varieties that does not produce the same thing every year or every plant. These have been selected for minimum organic fertilizer, water only once a week, and absolutely no pesticides. Many of the cantaloupes are very sweet while some of the cantaloupes have a stronger flavor and less sweetness. These are great producers that require very little water or other inputs.
